Tough Times Call for Creative Fundraising — Jarrett’s Castle Has the Solution

by SandMan on November 2, 2010

Next Spring, Ed Jarrett, Guinness Record Holder for the World’s Tallest Sandcastle, will attempt to break his own record.  But, he can’t do it alone.  Only with help from thousands of volunteers can he succeed is his quest.  That’s why the construction of the castle has been designed as a multi-charity fundraising event, offering organizations the opportunity to raise money through bucket-a-thons and sponsorships.

Interested organizations are invited to send a representative to the Jarrett’s Castle Open House on Thursday, November 18, 2010 anytime between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Winding Trails’ Garmany Hall (50 Winding Trails Drive, Farmington).  Registration is required by November 16.  Call (860) 677-8458 or email scott@windingtrails.org.
