WHAT:     Boardwalk Journey is a sand museum featuring over 5,000 square feet of detailed sand sculptures (made from the same sand used for the World’s Tallest Sandcastle in Point Pleasant in 2013). The exhibit takes visitors back in time to the beginning of the Jersey Shore boardwalks and delivers them on the doorstep of the future. While sculpting and finishing touches will continue over the next few weeks, all the sand museum’s pieces will be sketched out and all boardwalk towns will be represented in time for the grand opening. Created to raise money for Hometown Heroes, Boardwalk Journey will remain open daily in Seaside Park throughout the remainder of the summer.

WHEN:     Tuesday, July 22, 2014

Press Conference at 5:30 p.m.

Door Open to the Public at 6:00 p.m.

WHERE:   Corner of N Street and North Ocean Avenue, Seaside Park
